John T. Lindquist O.D.

Dr. Lindquist was born in Bakersfield and attended local schools. In 1974 he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Lindquist practiced in Delano and Shafter before establishing his current practice in Bakersfield in 1978. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and the Kern County Optometric Society. He has served as the president and secretary-treasurer of the Kern County Optometric Society.

Ranjeet S. Bajwa O.D.

Dr. Ranjeet S. Bajwa was born in Porterville, Ca. After graduating from high school, he earned his bachelors degree from University of California at Davis. Dr. Bajwa graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2008 and then completed his one year residency in primary care optometry at the Crown Point Indian Health Services Hospital of the Navajo Nation in Crownpoint, New Mexico. Dr. Bajwa worked for a non-profit health clinic in Grass Valley, California before joining Stockdale Optometry in July 2010. He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and is currently serving as the president of the Kern County Optometric Society.

Erik D. Ross

Optical Manager Erik Ross has 20 years of optical experience. He began working for his father, Dwight Ross, at a young age and eventually came to run the family business, Kern Optical. Erik has been with Stockdale Optometry since 2006 and has made many improvements to our optical department. He has introduced an in-house lab and brought in many designer frame lines such as Coach®, Silhouette®, Oakley® and Maui Jim®.

Raquel Sanchez

Our front office staff welcome you to our office and are here to help you when arriving for your eye care appointment. They work closely with patients, parents and family members to ensure that your visit to Stockdale Optometry is a pleasant one.

Raquel Sanchez is our pre-tester and contact lens technician. She exudes a patient demeanor when training patients to use contact lenses. Her vast knowledge, professionalism and persistent work ethic make her an invaluable member of our eye care team.

Sara Pitchford

Sara Pitchford greets every patient who walks through our doors with a smile. She is friendly and efficient and would be happy to book your next appointment or answer any questions you may have.

Nancy Contreras

Nancy Contreras joined our team January of 2011. She has a year and a half of experience in the optometric setting. Nancy primarily works in the billing department but also has capability of working front desk and pretesting.She is bilingual, very friendly and is always glad to help patients.

Linda Santamaria

Our friendly opticians will meet your every vision health need at your eye exam. Our optical staff forms an integral part of our total eye exam team at Stockdale Optometry - focused on serving you. With opticians certified by the American Optometric Association and the American Board of Opticianry, we pride ourselves on providing precise and comfortable eyeglass prescriptions. Our in-house lab and large optical boutique allow us to offer patients of all ages the latest in technology and fashion.

Linda Santamaria is an optician who joined our team in 2008. She is bilingual and enjoys working with our Spanish speaking patients. Her positive attitude and sense of humor make her an enjoyable addition to our team.

Chris Allen

Chris Allen is a ABO/AOA certified optician with 30 years experience and a smile that brightens our office. She prides herself on precise fitting and adjustment and takes pleasure in working with patients to ensure that their optical needs are met.
